"The greatest danger for most of us is not that our aim is too high and we miss it, but that it is too low and we reach it."

- Michelangelo

James Egozi, born on the 10th of December 2007, is an American Racing Driver from Miami, Florida. He is competing in the 2025 EuroCup-3 Season with Palou Motorsport and was a previous member of the Red Bull Junior Team.

Having started karting in his hometown at the age of 4, his first National Championship title came at the Florida Winter Tour in the Rotax Micro Max category in 2017. Following this first major achievement, James garnered many more titles in the USA. Most notably, were the 2018 Mini Max and Mini ROK Championship titles. As a result, in 2019 he earned a move to the European stage. His first European Championship title came in 2021, when he won the WSK Open Cup in the OKJ Category. This was followed by consistent results for the 2022 Season as a Rookie in the OK Category. Egozi then won the WSK Super Master Series in 2023, closing out a notable karting career which ultimately cemented his seat in single-seaters.

A week following his 2023 WSK title, James debuted at the Italian Formula 4 Championship for PHM Racing. His campaign immediately started off strong, with consistent points finishes in the first few rounds. As a Rookie, James ultimately finished 14th in the Championship with 37 points, in what is considered the most competitive F4 series in the world of Motorsports. He also made a cameo in the CEZ Formula 4 Championship with PHM Racing where he earned two pole positions and two wins, finishing 8th in the Championship competing in only one round of the six-round series.

Egozi then kicked off his 2024 Season in the Formula Winter Series for Campos Racing. He finished 9th in the standings, claiming a pole position and a race win, having contested only the first and third rounds of the four-round series. Concluding winter preparations, James moved onto his main season, the 2024 Spanish Formula 4 Championship under the wing of the Red Bull Junior Team. He finished on the podium four times and claimed one pole position. Despite two early DNF’s in round one and a mechanical failure in round two of the Championship, Egozi's consistency throughout the remainder of the season allowed him to secure 6th place in the Championship with 143 points.

In early 2025, James was signed by Palou Motorsport’s EuroCup-3 Team. He would join them for the Spanish Winter Championship, securing a 2nd place finish in the opening round at the Circuito de Jerez, as well as 2nd place and a victory in the second round at the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve. Sitting 4th in the standings, James entered the last round of the series at Motorland Aragon determined to close out the Winter Championship on the podium. He did just that, scoring a 3rd place in R1, a pole in Q2 and another victory in R2. The results were nearly enough for second in the Championship falling just 7 points shy in third.

The focus now turns to further preparations for the main EuroCup-3 Championship of the year.
