In one of the more exciting final laps you'll see this year, James Egozi took the win in Ocala and came out looking really good for the championship in Mini ROK.

Egozi got a great drive off the final corner, and held on by three thousandths of a second to score his first series victory.

In the race of the weekend, Koene USA's James Egozi led much of the middle half of the 22-lap Mini ROK Final, before losing the lead with six to go, and somehow making it through two wrecks just to get back to the front with a half lap left to take the win in the 41-kart field.

Dale Curran and James Egozi, two race winners from the Rotax weekend during round one, will team up together in the Vortex Mini ROK division.

James Egozi (TonyKart) led early in the Final until he slipped back throughout the second half of the race. But after a chaotic final few laps, Egozi emerged with the race lead and then held on for the Mini ROK victory at Florida Winter Tour in Ocala.

James Egozi led all 18 laps in the Final despite constant pressure from Emerson Fittipaldi and Miguel Costa. Fittipaldi and Costa fought hard for that second spot, eventually going to Costa in the final laps.

Among them was Koene USA / Tony Kart driver James Egozi. The Florida native has racked up some victories and championships in the Micro divisions, including racing at the famed Rotax Grand Finals last year, placing fourth in the inaugural world championship.
